Attention to detail is a key feature in New Albany, which is why Goodwin is always on-time and polite during his New Albany mulch delivery appointments. He loves to stop by the New Albany Country Club, and he's a frequent guest at the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts where he can take in a photography exhibit, a health lecture, an author's presentation, or an orchestra performance. In between New Albany mulch deliveries, the chief mulch monkey might be seen swinging through the trees at the 135-acre Bevelhymer Park or joining in some of the youth or adult sports leagues to cheer on his favorite customers. And of course, he never misses the New Albany Founders Day celebration in May, where he might march in the parade, laugh with delight on a carnival ride, or place a bid in the silent auction. Goodwin's top priority, though, is helping New Albany stay as beautiful as it always is, by delivering mulch to one beautiful yard at a time!
